About Us

Why Choose Urge to Purge

Life brings messes, clutter. That is all normal. It’s that point where you carry the clutter around with you mentally, you can see it in your mind so it weighs you down, that you call us in. We are here to ensure you can clear your space and clear your mind.

There is no job too big or too small. Our job is to tackle your project for what you need. Our decluttering team will walk through your priorities, uncover your goals for the space, and then get to work! If you are carrying so much clutter you don’t know where to start, we got you!

Many of our clients choose us for their first project, and then that catapults into other projects throughout their home. We want you to choose us the first time, and then every time after.

The mission is simple: Clear Space, Clear Mind.

Our values are: Excellence, Efficiency, Empathy, and (Positive) Energy

Meet the Founder

My name is Jaimie Bubb. I am the founder of Urge to Purge. I live in Northern Kentucky with my supportive husband and 3 amazing kiddos. I am a nurse by background, so I have always wanted, even needed, to help others. I was a bedside nurse for a handful of years and then moved into chronic care coaching before eventually ending up in Health IT.

Recently, life led me to this door which opened up the opportunity and the idea for Urge to Purge. Mental health – mine, my family’s, my children’s – has always been at the forefront of my mind. My brother adopted a beautiful baby girl in 2023. Between the stress of life, baby, work, he had a mental health crisis which led him to need to take a leave from work. I wanted to help in whatever way I could. I decided to tackle all the little areas of clutter that happen, hoping this would lighten the load just a little bit.

The experience of helping my brother and his family quickly made me realize not only that this work is important, but it is needed. As selfish as it might sound, this work is cathartic for me. I love not only the before and after pictures, but more importantly, the before and after client vibes. Most times when we start the project they are anxious, overwhelmed, even embarrassed. When I leave you can just feel them breathe easier, shoulders back, energy shifted into optimism and excitement. The biggest compliment to the work I do is, even after I’ve left, the client still has that “urge” and continues to purge on their own.
