Med Spa Storage Organization in Crescent Springs, KY
Med spa storage organization in Crescent Springs, KY, start to finish: a back-of-house storage closet at a med spa in Crescent Springs, Kentucky, decluttered so staff could find supplies between appointments. Here is how that went.
Before: what this Crescent Springs storage closet looked like
We partnered with a local med spa to transform an overcrowded storage closet into a clean, organized, and efficient workspace.
It is a narrow utility closet — electrical panels on one wall, network gear on the other — and it had become where event things went to wait. Velvet rope stands lay across the floor, red plastic bags of decorations were pushed against the back wall, boxes sat on boxes, and tinsel and silver balloons from the last open house were still in the doorway. Reaching the router meant stepping over all of it.
How to organize a med spa supply closet, step by step
A back-of-house closet is judged on one thing: can a staff member grab what they need in thirty seconds between clients? Every decision below serves that.
Pull — Everything out into the corridor and sorted by type: event supplies, cleaning equipment, retail stock, packaging.
Purge — Deflated balloons, broken decorations, empty boxes and packaging from products that had long since been sold all went. A closet this size cannot afford to store trash.
Plan — The floor was reserved for things that stand — the rope stands lined along the back wall, the vacuum and shop vac beside them, the folding cart at the door. Everything small went into stacked drawers with clear fronts, and everything soft — table covers, branded tees — into lidded clear bins.
Place — Drawers stacked where the boxes were, labeled by contents. Rope stands upright against the wall so they can be carried straight out for an event. A clear path to the electrical panel, which matters for more than tidiness.
After: what changed in this storage closet
Supplies were sorted and arranged for easy access, ensuring staff could quickly find what they needed during busy appointment days. The result was a streamlined storage system that improved daily workflow, reduced time spent searching for products, and created a more professional, efficient environment for both the team and their clients.
The floor is clear. The rope stands stand in a row instead of lying across the doorway, the shop vac and upright vacuum have a spot beside them, and the small items that were in loose bags are in stacked white drawers with clear lids. Anyone on the team can see what is in the closet from the door without walking in.
